The Paludiculture Exploration Fund (PEF) grant is now open for applications from projects focused on tackling the barriers to developing commercially viable paludiculture on lowland peat soils in England.
The projects funded will tackle barriers along the supply chain and address issues associated with a range of crops suitable for paludiculture. The intended outcome should support practical initiatives that deliver positive environmental benefit resulting in the reduction of peat wastage and greenhouse gas emissions.
The deadline for submission of applications is 3rd March 2023 (4pm).
